高校卒業後、何故か義理人情に憧れ将来は菅原文太になろうと固く決意する。泉州、鹿児島、伊予三島、松山、佐賀、広島など西日本各地を気の向くまま流れのままに転々。その頃、新浪漫派・思想家の故野村秋介の存在を知り心酔。民族派思想に目覚める。

これまで会社を2つ興すが尽く失敗。一時は1億円近い借金を抱える。現在新たな会社を三たび立上げ悪戦苦闘中だが、その先行きは果てしなく何処までも暗い。
祖国日本を愛する、酒酔ぐれの不良中年。

俺は何故かこの歌が好きで、当時のツレによく笑われた。








好きな男の結婚式に招待された女が辛辣にその男に悪態をつく。



本気だったのにと女は男を恨んでいるが

よく考えたら、

そこまで関係のあった女を新郎が果たして結婚式に招待するものだろうか。




これはこの女の勘違いで、男の方からすれば

どうも特別な関係とは考えていなかったに違いない。





でも、女は一方的であってもそこまで想いを募らせているのだから

2人には普段からそれなりの接触はあったのだろう。





そうなると

新婦より私のほうが綺麗だとか

教会の一番後ろの席にひとりで座らせておかれているのが気に入らないとか

挙句の果てに、くたばっちまえアーメン。




ここまで悪態をつく性格の女だということを新郎は絶対に知っていたはずだ。







それでも彼は彼女を招待した。



何故だろう。






「お化粧する娘は嫌いだなんてあの優しい目は何だったの」




これを彼から言われた時、彼女は化粧をしていたのだろう。

それも相当に濃くだ。

男は好きな女がバッチリ化粧している時にそんなことは言わない。





男にとっては、

身体だけの関係なのに、まさかこの女勘違いしてないだろうな

と、ふと何気なく思ったときにでた言葉だったのだろう。




まさか恋人じゃないよ、まさか本気じゃないよね、エッチだけが目的だよ

その思いを、妖怪人間べラ並に化粧をしている彼女へ

遠すぎるほどの遠まわしで釘を刺したつもりだったのだろう。




悲しいかな彼女はそれを都合よく受取ってしまい

鏡を相手にそのスッピン顔と睨めっこしていたのだろう。

間違いない。

男は彼女の事を恋人とも特別な関係とも思っていなかったのだ。

男は彼女の方もそうだと思い込んでいる。






でないとこういう女性を結婚式によぶのは怖すぎる。







だって普通、そういうとき招待されても行かないだろ？








シュガーは1990年デビューして1986年に解散。

この曲以外にパッとしたヒットはなかった。

この頃の日本の歌謡曲は、ほとんど知らない筈なのに
何故か、この唄が好きでした。
